Hello Ed,
You are seeing this error because you are attempting to send an On-Platform secure email to a contact who is not subscribed to eCrypt.me. On-Platform emails can only be sent to other eCrypt.me users, however, you can send an Off-Platform email to those who are not. For your convenience we've created a Getting Started Guide (http://help.ecryptinc.com/2011/10/17/getting-started-guide/) which explains both of these options.
Thank you for using eCrypt!
Kasia

Where can I find information on how to resolve this error message [email address removed for privacy reasons] is not registered with eCrypt.me. It has been entered in the addresss book. I find the instructions for new users lacking for new users. It seems that most instructions I have seen this is predominant (formerly Mobile Mail Privacy) but what if you are not used to that format? Don't you have a regular manual for eCrypt? Please advise. Thank you, Ed

Like it or not (I'm not a huge fan), it is a place where you can connect with a lot of your friends and colleagues. For us, it's a requirement.
